I feel guilty for not posting for so long. Guilty for not obeying my own rules. Anyways, as part of the tradition, I'll state what this is about. This is a boring post about my fashion style. As weird as this seems, this was the only topic I could think of. Over the years, I've been obsessed over many kinds of styles.

In my innocent toddler days, I longed for the most beautiful dresses. From polka dots to checkers, from frills to lace. I would feel so confident when my mom dressed me up with a classy polka dot dress, socks with a lot of frills and black glossy shoes. I enjoyed being complimented by the older cousins while wearing them.

As I grew up a bit, I started admiring my older cousins for their fabulous style. They would wear chic knit sweaters with trousers, so I simply followed them. I made my mom give away most of my dresses and asked for pants and sneakers. I didn't define the word 'edgy' properly, but I felt edgier. Thinking about it now, I can't understand why I decided to do as they did. It was just ridiculous.

As I grew even older, I developed a pathetic style: very very black. All my pieces would be black in colour, either completely black or black with a bit of colour. I enjoyed wearing them because they seemed simple and nice. But recently, when I was looking at my old pictures, I went like, 'why the heck did I dress like that?'

Lastly, I adopted a more colourful style. I would still go with a black pair of tight jeans no matter the weather nor occasion, but I got addicted to the colorful Roxy tees and started to dress with more colours. That was when my style kind of became rocker like, like about 20% of the rock style.

Currently, my style is one with a lot of variations. Since I've failed to catagorize it as any sort of style, I just call it 'my style'. Sometimes it's a tee with a weird, mismatched skirt; sometimes it's a colourful Roxy tee with a pair of sporty Adidas pants, other times it's a random tee paired with tight jeans and a pair of worn-off rocker boots. I just don't know. I have my own weird theory of fashion: 'throw on whatever pieces you feel like, as long as the pieces are used for their intended purposes, there's nothing such as a mismatch.'

Hopefully I can write a post about my current style tomorrow. This is boring, right? Totes.
