Volleyball Competition 2013
We were 2nd in the Kowloon West Area Volleyball Competition. To most people, it was something worth celebrating. It wasn't to me. I had many, many regrets and I felt like it was my fault that we didn't win the thing.
I always freaked out easily, and I over-worried the whole time, causing everyone to freak out with me. Halfway through a match, I broke down and nearly had a panic attack. I felt like I had wasted my chance to play for the school, and furthermore, made the team do worse than usual. I was very depressed for a few days.
Now that the event was over for a while, I learnt that I must not be affected by my fears, since without fears, we could have done a lot better. On the last day of school, the teacher-in-charge of the team, Mrs. Fung, told me to overcome my fears in the future.

ReplyDeletewow you actually broke down?
ReplyDelete2nd is already very good, think about that most schools do not place.
ReplyDeleteKaren: yes, I have to try
ReplyDeleteTanya: I did, people from the other schools looked at me and I was embarrassed
Olivia: Well, we used to place better...
