Aspirations.
I know people who aspire to be musicians, doctors, lawyers, policewomen... People who just chase for their dreams with a lot of passion. And I? I don't have any big aspirations.
I admire the fun of just roaming around. Isn't it fun, going wherever your heart brings you? People might say that I'm living with far too much freedom, but I think that it is good to explore everything. I love the excitement of a free life to an extent that I can give up success for it.
I'm not saying that hard work and persistence is not needed. In fact, I do believe in working hard, but living a life for a goal isn't really that exciting. I believe in doing the neccesary things such as studying, but for the others, I simply do what I feel interested in, not the things that help me reach one big goal.
There have been times when my mother asked me what I wanted to do in university. My response would always be, "there's still a long time until university." (Bare in mind, I'm still twelve.) Even though she always says that it's good to plan far ahead, but why not wait until things come and just see what happens? Once I choose it, the rest of the years until university would be to prepare for that. That would be a complete waste of life.
It's not wrong to play safe. In fact, living this kind of free life has consequences. Often I find myself panicking while doing things, since I leave them to the last moment. But it really excites me. And I think it's worth it.
