I've become so much busier nowadays, but don't worry, I'll not abandon blogging anytime soon. I promised to get a blog up within these few days of holidays to someone, so here's it. Today I shall talk about the blog's title and about the past. Before I start, let me apologize for constantly changing my website address. I'm sorry that I always find better ones, so I end up changing them every few weeks.
The meaning of the address is pretty self-explanatory. Next encore is obviously referring to the encore that's coming next, but these two words have a special meaning to me, and I have my own interpretation of it. The inspiration came from the song "Owaranai Encore" ("Never-ending Encore). There's this line: "leading to the future/the never-ending encore", which made me associate that after this encore, since it's not going to end, there will be another one, which is the next encore.
It also symbolizes hope and anticipation to me. Probably you'll not understand why, but just these two words "Owaranai Encore" gives me hope. To me, the hope comes from anticipating the coming of the next encore, and for it, you work harder to stay motivated until it comes. I think that's important since it's the very thing that gives people hope to continue living. And encore, to me, is a very beautiful thing, for some weird reason. Since it's the last part of every concert, most people who enjoys the concert will not want it to end. It's like holding onto the last parts of memories, which is something I always love to write about.
That brings me onto the next part. Another meaning of that to me is remembering the past. Again, stressing that encores are always at the end, they always happen after tons of hard work. It symbolizes reminiscing the past days in which I worked very hard to make things happen, in which I wanted so much to make things happen. It's just so nostalgic to me. I chose those two words simply because it reminds me of the nostalgic times when it was difficult for me to continue working. It gives me such relief, after achieving things, to have a look back on the struggles in the past.
To sum it up, I think it's both about the coming future and the past, two things that I favour hugely. I think that it's most enjoyable to recall past events, but anticipation is equally important. I believe that it's because of anticipation that I've been able to live happily without losing hope. "Next Encore" doesn't only stand for the upcoming encore to me, it represents the attitude I live my life with, remembering things while looking forward to the future. With this mindset, I can definitely say that my life is not depressing at all.
Oh, and I've just successfully made a simple title seem deep. But well, that's how it is to me. I'm pretty glad that this "next encore" attitude has helped my life become so much happier. Actually there's another meaning to this title that I won't explain. Teehee :D
