♡50 facts about me♡

I was a bit too bored that day, and since I can't ever get enough of my narcissism, I've decided to present you 50 long and boring facts about me. It's not that you don't know about me already, but since I'm such a wonderful, interesting (and beautiful) person, I feel like there's always something more about me you need to know. Writing this has made me very happy, so thanks.

50 narcissistic facts about me:D

  1. My favourite colours are pink, red and purple. Pink represents myself and the things I like, red represents the kind of passion that I want to have, and purple to me stands for deep friendships (don't ask me to tell the story behind).
  2. I play three instruments: the piano, the flute and the recorder (yep).
  3. I generally eat more than the normal person. My favourite foods include sushi, kaisendon (sashimi rice), ramen and pasta.
  4. I have a clear brand preference for items, for example, Nike for sportswear, HTC for phones and Baby-G for watches.
  5. I'm subscribed to quite a lot of Youtubers whom I watch frequently, including beauty gurus, Japanese youtubers and also Dan&Phil (because much comic sans very sarcasm).
  6. My laptop is the 2015 Macbook Pro with Retina display. Its functionality and speed were very impressive, but I chose it mainly because it felt more like a solid computer.
  7. I don't mind bringing heavy gadgets, even on trips. Some people can travel with only a small pouch, but when I'm overseas, it's always necessary for me to bring along my iPad mini, my camcorder and my smaller camera wherever I go.
  8. I used to hate Kpop, but nowadays I don't anymore. Although the only act I love is EXID, I can accept most Kpop songs.
  9. The phone I'm using is HTC's One Me, a dual sim phone that has the name of the 'Mid-high range flagship'. After comparing its tech specs with M9+'s (the flagship), I found that they were quite similar, but it was cheaper by over $2000, so I bought the Me.
  10. I have an obsession over watching autoplays / crazy people play insane Taiko songs. The noise is surprisingly awakening and makes me hyper.
  11. I'm a huge fan of the Touhou project, a series of Japanese shooting games. It's mainly because its graphics are fascinatingly dark, and it's a world dominated by (mainly) beautiful female characters.
  12. I like people with straight, medium-thickness brows. The western makeup industry really likes the arched look, and it makes me feel uncomfortable.
  13. I once went to a handshake event and met three of my idols, among which was my all-time favourite idol. I was so nervous I didn't even look at her properly, but I recall vaguely how beautiful she was in person. Looking at the signed poster, I'm still reminded of my regrets.
  14. I'm obsessed with Mos Burger's fish burgers. I once consumed around 20 of them within a month. There's something special about the flavour that's addictive.
  15. I was in love with the game Pet Society and raised a pet named Paris for a long time, until I finally got tired of it and stopped. Years from then, I suddenly decided to log on again just to find that the game no longer existed.
  16. I regularly visit a Chinese noodle shop called 雲貴川 near my school. The food is tasty and the atmosphere at night is fascinating. I have a fixed order, and the staff there pretty much knows what I will order before I even tell them.
  17. When I become passionate about something, I normally put everything into it, for a long, long time. I either like something a lot, or hate it.
  18. I'm very afraid of males. Males specifically refer to men by birth who aren't transgendered women, as well as women who look so much like men it's scary. I deliberately scurry away from them, if I come across one in close proximity.
  19. I was completely friendless until primary five. It took me even longer to become fully (or seemingly) accpeted in communities. I had trouble finding groups for projects as well as small friendship circles, until very lately when I finally earnt myself some friends. (Not going to determine whether they're true friends or not though).
  20. I hate all flowers except roses. If even just one flower is within my view, I cannot eat as I feel that whatever I'm eating is a disgusting flower part. If I ever have to touch a flower, I'd wash my hands ten times and still feel filthy and not touch my food for the rest of the day.
  21. Despite everyone thinking that the iPad learning scheme is useless, I find it incredibly beneficial and interesting, since I've been digitalizing my stuff since a young age.

  28. I was born with perfect pitch, but sometimes I forget where middle C is. As a result of this 'special ability', I often made piano covers of songs as a kid.
  29. I have some sort of obsession with signed items, not just those by celebrities. When I received my graduation yearbook in primary school, I made almost everyone sign their pages.
  30. I love the entire city of Tokyo, but my favourite district would be either Shinjuku or Harajuku.
  31. I can't programme well. I've pretty much mastered AppInventor, but it's nothing but a very basic and simple language. In my free time, I learn how to code online, for languages such as HTML and Javascript.
  32. I blog often. I love the idea of documenting events online, in an intriguing and lively way. I created the first blog for myself when I was eight, but never really blogged seriously until the age of twelve.
  33. My Instagram was born on the 8th of April, 2012. I seldom delete posts, and I enjoy posting trivial crap, which explains why my account now has over 1700 photos.

  35. My favourite season is winter. I enjoy feeling cold, and the thick clothes make me feel very safe. I always feel encouraged and hyper whenever winter comes, and it is one of my reasons for living.
  36. Except on school days, I bring my small camera wherever I go. Although it isn't the best of cameras, it allows me to take great footage or photos that are much better than those from my phone camera.
  37. I'm a city girl. I love the idea of a cosmopolitan, glamorous and fast-paced city. If I had to live in the countryside for the rest of my life, I'd feel that my life wasn't going anywhere.
  38. I'm fascinated by lights in the dark sky. I love cold and dark winter nights, as I love how miserably beautiful they are.
  39. My current go-to Starbucks order is English Breakfast Tea Latte. As an alternative, I either order Hojicha Tea Latte or Green Tea Latte. For all of the cold milk-involved drinks, I always order it with soya bean milk and no ice.
  40. Peaches are my favourite fruits. I always overdose on them when I go to Japan. This summer, Starbucks Japan released a drink called the "Peach in Peach" (ピーチインピーチ). It is my ideal drink -- peachy-milky tasting beverage with chunks of peach.

  43. When I was in primary five, I had my first very good friend. She was the first one who really cared about me, and enlightened me in many ways. We don't really talk anymore nowadays, but she still waves to me when I run into her.
  44. One of my biggest obsessions is computer and tech, basically. When I say tech it’s not your typical geeky difficult coding, or technical assembly of components. It’s the more simple side of tech, such as running blogs, making videos, writing websites and stuff.
  45. I’ve being using Google Drive since my p5/p6 days. It’s rather early, not only in comparison with the people around me, but also considering the fact that Google Drive was launched in April 2012.
  46. From my birth until around five/six years old, I had completely no hair parting. My whole head of hair naturally laid backwards, not a single strand laid to the side or framed my face.
  47. I can’t recite the alphabet properly. I can only recite in order, since I’m used to the sound of it, but I don’t have an actual concept of which letter goes after which.
  48. I’m very prone to careless injuries or accidents, such as running into objects often and dropping stuff. It’s probably because I don’t have an accurate sense of where things are located, so I might think that I have enough space to pass through but in fact I’m going to bump hard into something.
  49. I have zero tolerance for the colour green. If I can avoid it, I’d definitely not choose anything in the green colour. I will deliberately buy Bonaqua water in order to avoid Watson’s water, for example.
  50. One thing I love doing on holidays or off-time is exploring new places (malls basically). I search for things that excite me, and end the day with a wonderful meal. (It doesn’t have to be expensive, something new would do).
So that's it. I'm sincerely sorry to all of you.
